About the Summit

Children are key informants and experts in their own lives and, indeed, are our best source of advice for matters affecting them. Africa’s Children Conference 2024 will offer a platform for children in Africa to reflect on their own experiences in the unification of the African continent and the actions they would love to see their leaders undertake. It will promote the unity of the African continent and its agendas, enable knowledge transfer, and most importantly change the mindset of an African child toward Africa, to take pride in their originality and prepare the next generations for a united Africa under the theme: Africa’s Children, Africa’s Future.

To empower young voices and the future of the African continent.

Main Objective:

• To emphasize the children strong sense of identity.
• To connect children with and contribute to their world.
• To enhance children a strong sense of wellbeing.
• To boost the children confidence and involvement in learning.
• To ensure Children are effective communicators.

Goals:

• To gather and verify information from children detailing about children and how children are affected by leaderships.
• To use the information to support reports of the various leaders and stake holders on children in decision making
• To amplify the future of the African continent voices to the leaders.
• To engage in dialogue with children, governments and stakeholders in regards to children policies

• To strengthen our forefathers vision of unity, solidarity and cooperation.
• To provide participants with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the region for the advancement of opportunities and solutions to conflicts and challenges towards children.
• To network children with professional experts, government leaders and to learn from each other and share experiences.
